Caron’s Adult Assessment Program was created for adults 26 years old and older. This intensive assessment, typically lasting 5 days, is conducted in a safe and controlled environment and designed to rule in or rule out a diagnosis of chemical dependency.
The comprehensive program includes a biopsychosocial assessment, addiction assessment and neuropsychological testing. Additionally, a team of Caron professionals will collect and evaluate information from the adult’s medical and psychological providers when appropriate.
At the end of the assessment, the adult and their family will meet with Caron professionals to review a verbal summary report and recommendations specific to the adult. The Caron assessment team will also aid in the development of a customized treatment plan if a chemical dependency diagnosis is established.
